Too Short Chhe! But Beautiful Chhe!

Amit Trivedi is on a high by signing more and more films and getting more and more applaud as he signed another much awaited release this year Kai Po Che! Everyone highly waited for the album to get released but all came to a shock when the listeners got only three songs. Yes, the big album has a small soundtrack but what’s more important is that the quality of all the songs are amazing!
Music: Amit Trivedi; Lyrics: Swanand Kirkire

1.Manja – Singer: Amit Trivedi
Manja is a typical Amit Trivedi song in which he used the laziness and carelessness effect in his voice. The use of eastern instruments like esraj is wonderful. Swanand’s lyrics are too perfect for the song like that. It’s situational yet the listener would feel attached even before watching the video.

2.Shubhaarambh – Singers: Divya Kumar, Shruti Pathak
It’s a track made for a particular occasion in the film. The track has some beautiful instruments like shehnai or bagpipe. Divya kumar is in his full form as he sings it with a baritone that suits very well in this track. Shruti Pathak is all perfect with the gujarati lyrics. Since it does not offer much it’s a “GET OUT”.

3.Meethi Boliyan – Singers: Mili Nair, Amit Trivedi
Again a signature style of Amit Trivedi but he saved it all by introducing this mesemerizing singer Mili Nair who sang undoubtedly awesome and fantastic. The way she drags the word “sunlo” is outsanding. Her voice is also being given a technical touch. As Amit takes over the song,he simply rocked it. Lyrics are pure, real and relates nature with the practical life. All sets perfect for this mesmerizing track. It’s a “WELCOME”.

Kai Po che! is a beautiful album with three situational and cute songs. Amit is again awesome and impresses us. The soundtrack was too small to believe. Some reprise or unplugged versions would have done a lot better.
